Rourkela, Jan 9: A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable
stationed at Rourkela Steel Plant here died by suicide on Thursday by shooting
himself with his service weapon, police said.
The deceased constable has been identified as Abhinandan PK (23), a native of Kerala.
According to the police, Abhinandan shot himself on the right side of his head with his service rifle while on duty inside the steel plant this afternoon.
Hearing the sound, Abhinandan’s colleague rushed to the spot and found him lying in a pool of blood.

✨The Constable was immediately taken to the Ispat General Hospital, where the doctors declared him “brought dead”.
On being informed, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
