Bhubaneswar, Oct 7: Odisha Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja conducted a comprehensive review of the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) operations during his visit to the CRUT Head Office and Gadakana Electric Bus Depot here on Monday, officials said.
The visit underscored the State Government’s commitment to smart, efficient, and eco-friendly urban mobility solutions.

At the CRUT Command and Control Centre, the Chief Secretary reviewed the real-time monitoring systems, data analytics tools, and schedule optimization processes. These digital innovations are central to improving service punctuality, operational efficiency, and overall commuter satisfaction.

Commending CRUT’s efforts, Ahuja praised the team’s use of technology in public transport management. Thirumala Naik briefed him on current operations and future plans.
