Bhubaneswar, July 24: Amid the opening session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly, the State Cabinet is scheduled to meet here on Wednesday evening.
According to sources, the Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, will be held at 8:30 PM at the Lok Seva Bhawan here.
Chief Minister Majhi, who kept Home, Finance and several other departments to himself, will present the State budget for the year 2024-25 in the assembly tomorrow.

✨This will be the third Cabinet meeting of the newly formed BJP government in the State.
Earlier, the State Cabinet, chaired by CM Mohan Majhi, gave nod to nine major proposals of various departments including a special corpus fund of Rs 200 crore for a bouquet of initiatives to restore and promote ‘Odisa Asmita’.
