Odisha Cabinet Approves 13 Proposals; 200 E-Buses Will Run Across State

Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: The Odisha Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik this evening, approved as many as 13 important proposals belonging to 10 departments, including the running of 200 electric-run buses across the State.
According to an approved proposal, a Jagannath Rath would move across the State from January 5. White rice and betelnut, which are very sacred in the Hindu religion, will be collected from all the houses and kept in a temple in each (respective) block. LED screens will be installed in all gram panchayats to display the inauguration of the Shrimandir Parikrama project on January 17. For this, Rs 156 crore will be spent.
After the inauguration, selected people will be brought to Puri to see the Parikrama project and have Darshan of Lord Jagannath.
Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha program will be implemented in all 6794 gram panchayats. Each panchayat will be provided Rs 3 lakh. A total of Rs 204 crore will be spent.
