Bhubaneswar, March 19: A blood donation camp was successfully organized at the Conference Hall of the Higher Education Department, jointly conducted by the State NSS Cell and the Cultural Association of the Higher Education Department.
It saw an impressive collection of 65 units of blood, which was handed over to the Red Cross Regional Blood Centre, Bhubaneswar.
The event was inaugurated by Arvind Agrawal,Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Higher Education Department. Shri Agrawal also donated blood in this blood donation camp.

✨Employees from the Higher Education Department actively participated in the donation drive. Notably, Manoranjan Nayak, FA-cum-Special Secretary and Pramod Kumar Mishra, Special Secretary, also donated blood. Additionally, NSS and Youth Red Cross volunteers contributed to the noble cause.
Kali prasanna Mahapatra, Director, Ramakant Nayak, Special Secretary, Prasant Mahapatra, Additional Secretary, Prativa Sahu, Joint Secretary, Ramesh Chandra Behera, SNO-cum-Deputy Secretary, Sarita Patel, NSS Regional Director and Soumya Ranjan Behera, President of the Cultural Association of Higher Education Department were present.
