A solemn atmosphere enveloped the village as hundreds gathered to pay their final respects. Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, State BJP President Manmohan Samal, and PCC President Bhakta Charan Das were among the dignitaries who offered floral tributes at Bhubaneswar airport, where Satpathy’s body arrived at 12:30 AM.

✨Satpathy, an employee of CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology), Balasore, was among the 26 civilians killed in the attack near Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, on Tuesday afternoon. He had been on vacation with his family when the tragedy struck.
His untimely demise has left the state in mourning, with leaders and citizens alike expressing their condolences and demanding justice for the victims of the attack. As the ceremony concluded, prayers were offered for peace and justice, marking the end of a solemn day.
