Bhubaneswar, Mar 7: The Odisha Assembly was adjourned till Monday as BJD and Congress members persisted with protests at the Speaker's podium after the House reassembled at 4 PM.
According to reports, as soon as the House assembled, the members of both BJD and the Congress rushed to the well and shouted slogans against the State government.

✨They alleged that the State government disrespected former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik by canceling observance of his birthday as Panchayati Raj Divas in the State.
Congress members also continued their protest, alleging the incidents of violence against women is on the rise in the State.
Unable to run the proceedings of the House, Speaker Surama Padhi adjourned the House till Monday.
