Bhubaneswar, Nov 26: The Odisha Legislative Assembly was adjourned again till 4 PM as Opposition members continued protesting the mango kernel deaths in the Well of the House.    

As the House reassembled, Congress members rushed to the Well of the House again and shouted slogans against the government. They alleged that people in Kandhamal died eating mango kernels due to the negligence of the State government. They reiterated their demand for a judicial probe into the deaths. 

Despite repeated requests from the Speaker, the Opposition members didn't withdraw their protest. The Speaker adjourned the House till 4 PM 

Earlier in the morning, the Speaker had adjourned the House as Question Hour was disrupted due to protests staged by Opposition Congress and BJD members.

Notably, the Winter Session of the Assembly began today. It is scheduled to run till December 31.
