When the Question Hour began, BJD MLAs staged a walkout over 'lack of police action' against the Odisha Governor's son for allegedly assaulting a government official.
Congress MLAs created ruckus alleging neglect of Odisha in the Union Budget 2024, presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament yesterday.
Congress MLAs were seen trooping into the well and raising slogans.
Speaker Surama Padhy appealed to the opposition members to sit on their respective seats and participate in the proceedings of the House.

✨As the chaos continued, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings till 11.30 AM today.
Notably, the budget for the year 2024-25 will be presented on July 25.
The first session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly will continue till September 13.
