Bhubaneswar, Aug 24: The Odisha State Assembly witnessed uproarious scenes for the fifth consecutive day and was adjourned for one hour today as Opposition BJD and Congress members continued their protests.
Due to ruckus by the Opposition members, the Question Hour debate could not be held.
As soon as the House met for the day, BJD and Congress members rushed into the Well of the House in protest.
While some BJD members tried to climb the Speaker's podium, a member hurled leaflets at the Chief Minister's table.
Meanwhile, the ruling BJP brought in a censor motion against the "unruly" behavior of the BJD Members. The motion against Romancha Ranjan Biswal and Madhab Dhada was also adopted through a voice vote.

✨Yesterday, BJD MLAs Madhab Dhada and Jogesh Singh climbed the Speader's podium during a protest in the Well of the House.
Unable to run the proceedings, Speaker Surama Padhy adjourned the House for one Hour.
BJP members Siddhanta Mohapatra and Manas Datta demanded that the BJD members, who showed unruly behaviour in the House, should tender an apology.
