Bhubaneswar, Mar 7: The Odisha Assembly was adjourned again till 4 pm as BJD and Congress members continued their protests at the Speaker's podium when the House reassembled at noon.
Earlier, the House was adjourned till noon.
According to the informaiton, Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik sat silently as his party members rushed to the Well of the House and shouted slogans against the State government. They alleged that the State government disrespected former Chief Minister Bijua Patnaik by canceling observance of his birthday as Panchayati Raj Divas in the State.
Congress members also continued their protest, alleging the incidents of violence against women is on the rise in the State.

✨Unable to run the proceedings of the House, Speaker Surama Padhi adjourned the House from 12.15 pm till 4 pm.
Meanwhile, Minister Rabi Narayan Naik refuted the BJD's allegation outside the State. Naik said the Biju Janata Dal was only playing politics with Biju Babu's name. The BJD Bhawan doesn't have a statue of Biju Babu.
"The BJP played politics by using Biju Babu's name. It is limiting Biju Babu to the world of Biju Janata Dal. It doesn't understand that Biju Babu is a personality of international stature," Naik took a dig at the BJD.
Standing committee reports of various departments are scheduled to be presented in the House in the afternoon hour today.
