Thursday announced the results of the Common Postgraduate Entrance Test
(CPET-2026), opening the admission process for postgraduate courses across the
state. A total of 32,309 seats will be available in 132 higher education
institutions for the academic year 2026–27, officials said.

The CPET-2026, conducted for admission into 50 postgraduate programmes, saw 58,613 applications, with 53,901 candidates appearing for the examination. Students can now access their individual results on the official SAMS portal, which will also host the detailed admission schedule in the coming days.
