Non-bailable warrant executed amid serious allegations and ongoing legal proceedings.
Bhubaneswar, July 10: Renowned Odia actor Partha Sarthi Ray was arrested on Thursday by Badagada Town Police following the issuance of a non-bailable warrant (NBW) by the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court, Khordha, a senior Police Officer said.
The arrest stems from Ray’s alleged failure to comply with court-mandated conditions in an ongoing legal matter.
According to police sources, the actor had repeatedly ignored court summons and violated bail bond protocols, prompting the JMFC Court to direct immediate enforcement of the warrant. Ray was taken into custody and produced before the court earlier in the day, where legal proceedings are now underway.
