Bhubaneswar/Cuttack, August 5: Odisha Vigilance is in action mode again as it conducted conducted simultaneous raids on properties associated with OBCC official Pradeep Kumar Rath.

Rath is the Chief Construction Engineer of R&B Cuttack Circle at Odisha Bridge and Construction Corporation (OBCC). Raids are underway simultaneously at 12 different locations, including Rath's residential house.

As many as nine DSPs and 11 Inspectors are among the officials in the team conducting the raids. 

Having the order from Special Judge, Vigilance, the raids are conducted at Rath's home in Satya Vihar and an apartment in Chandrasekharpur in the Capital City,  an apartment in Jagannathpur (Bhadrak), his office near Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, a couple of paternal houses in Agarpada and Randia Sasan (Bhadrak), underconstruction buildings in Jajpur, Khorda and Cuttack, a couple of his relatives' houses in Jajpur and Shastri Nagar (Bhubaneswar) and another paternal house in the Indradhanu Market in Nayapalli (Bhubaneswar).

Many important documents have been reportedly recovered as searches are underway. More details are awaited.
