Bhubaneswar, Aug 9: In a shocking incident, the body of a young nurse was discovered under mysterious circumstances inside the bathroom of a private hospital in Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.

The deceased, identified as Shubhasmita Raut, hailed from D.Ambatha village in Sanakhemundi block of Ganjam district. She was reportedly on night duty at the hospital and had spoken to her family around 10 PM on Thursday night. Sources say she had requested leave to visit home for Raksha Bandhan.

At approximately 3 AM, hospital authorities contacted her family, stating that Shubhasmita had collapsed in the bathroom. Upon reaching the hospital, the family was informed of her death.

Police have arrived at the scene and initiated a thorough investigation into the incident.
