To facilitate safe and efficient polling in remote regions, helicopter services have been arranged for eight booths. Polling officials will be airlifted to these locations and returned after the voting concludes. Additionally, 14 companies of Central Armed Police Forces will be deployed across the constituency to maintain law and order.

State Chief Electoral Officer RS Gopalan confirmed the details and emphasized the Election Commission’s commitment to conducting free and fair elections. He stated that all necessary logistical and security preparations are underway, and coordination with local administration is being closely monitored.

The Nuapada bypoll is expected to draw significant political attention, with parties gearing up to field strong candidates. The seat fell vacant following the demise of Rajendra Dholakia, and the outcome could influence regional political dynamics ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.

With the nomination process now open, political activity in Nuapada is set to intensify in the coming days. Voters and candidates alike are preparing for a crucial electoral contest that will shape the region’s representation in the state legislature.
