Talcher, Apr 3: In a police encounter in the dense forests of Scotlandpur in Talcher, Angul district in Odisha, notorious criminal Sushant Nayak sustained severe injuries.

Nayak, who has been implicated in multiple criminal cases in Talcher and surrounding areas, reportedly fled from authorities during an attempt to apprehend him. In response, police retaliated, resulting in gunfire that struck Nayak in his left leg.
