Bhubaneswar, Mar 31: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that several parts of Odisha may get relief from the scorching heat in Odisha.

According to the information, due to the influence of cyclonic storms and nor'wester in Chhatisgarh, the weather in Odisha may remain cloudy today. 

As per IMD,  there is a possibility of a considerable drop in the maximum temperature in Odisha in the next 24 hours.

However, yesterday the temperature rose above 40 degrees.

The maximum temperature of 41 degrees was recorded in Malkangiri.

The temperature was 40.5 degrees in Boudh and Titlagarh.

40.2 and 40 degrees temperature were recorded in Balangir and Nayagarh respectively.

Likewise, the daytime temperature of Bhubaneswar was 37 degrees and in Cuttack, it was standing at 37.6 degrees.
