Puri, Sep 22: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has announced that the sacred ornaments and valuables of Lord Jagannath, currently stored in the temporary safe house/chamber, will be relocated to the Ratna Bhandar on Tuesday.
This follows the successful completion of restoration and conservation work on the Ratna Bhandar, carried out under the supervision of the Archaeological Survey of India and in accordance with state-approved guidelines.
To facilitate the secure transfer, public darshan will be suspended from 10 AM onwards on the day. Key temple areas including the Natamandap, Jagamohan, and Jhulan Mandap will be closed to devotees. However, those wishing to partake in Mahaprasad can still access Anand Bazaar.

The SJTA has assured that the relocation will be conducted with utmost sanctity and transparency. Once the transfer is complete, all restrictions will be lifted and darshan will resume as normal. The temple administration has appealed to devotees for their cooperation during this sacred operation.
