Bhubaneswar, Mar 8: Ending all speculations, Bharatiya Janata Party state president Manmohan Samal on Friday evening reiterated that his party would fight the ensuing Parliamentary and Assembly elections alone in Odisha.
The State BJP chief stated this while responding to media queries on his return from New Delhi this evening.
"There were no talks about any alliance. As I said before, the BJP will fight elections alone in Odisha," Samal told reporters.
In response to a question as to what was discussed in the party's high-level meeting in Delhi, Samal said, "We discussed with our top leaders about our strategies to fight elections and form governments both at the State and the Centre."

✨There was no discusion on any alliance in the meeting, he said.
Samal made it clear that his party would field candidates of its own in all 147 Assembly seats and 21 Lok Sabha seats in the State in the coming elections.
