Cyclone Montha Weakens

Cyclone Impact on Odisha
Heavy rain battered parts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar, as Cyclone Montha weakened into a storm moving through Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Landslides, uprooted trees, and house damage were reported across districts in the state.


Cyclone Damage Assessment
Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari announced that damage assessment from Cyclone Montha will begin Thursday, with reports due in 72 hours. He assured prompt compensation will be provided once the official damage reports are received.
