Constitution Day Observed

India celebrated Constitution Day today, marking the 76th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution. The occasion highlights its enduring importance, not only for the legal fraternity but also for every citizen committed to democratic values and national progress.

Prez Leads Preamble Reading

President Droupadi Murmu led the reading of the Preamble at Samvidhan Sadan, New Delhi, to mark Constitution Day. She also released translated versions of the Constitution in nine languages, including Odia, reinforcing inclusivity and celebrating India’s democratic spirit.

PM’s Message

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a letter to citizens on Constitution Day, recalled the 1949 adoption of the Constitution. He urged people to prioritize their duties as India advances toward becoming a developed and empowered nation.

Safran Facility Inaugurated

Gundicha Temple To Reopen

Puri’s Gundicha Temple, which was closed for the past six years, will reopen to devotees from December 1. The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration’s Deputy Chief Administrator announced the decision, marking a significant moment for pilgrims and the temple’s cultural heritage.
