Parliament Stalemate Continues
The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 4 pm, while the Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 4:30 pm, following the opposition uproar over various issues. When both the houses reassembled at 2 pm to take up further business the opposition members continued with their protest following which both the houses were adjourned.

Cabinet meet tomorrow
The State cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will be held tomorrow. The meeting is expected to finalize several key proposals.

Heavy Rain Likely
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast heavy rainfall over several districts in Odisha during the next two days. A yellow alert for heavy rainfall has been issued over Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh districts during the next 24 years.

Baitarani River Swells
The water level of the Baitarani River has reached the alert mark at Akhuapada Anicut in Bhadrak district. The alert level is 17.83 meters, while the danger level stands at 18.33 meters.
