Manhunt Launched
Three teams have been formed and a manhunt was launched to nab the miscreants involved in the sexual assault of a girl in Jagatsinghpur's Chandagada area on Monday night. One suspect has been nabbed from Niali area of Cuttack district.


Sisters Harassed
Three sisters were allegedly harassed by a group of six youths near Kanthapur under Puri Sadar police limits. In yet another case, Police today detained a truck driver for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl in Malkangiri district.

Weather Alert
The India Meteorological Department has issued warnings for heavy to very heavy rainfall across Odisha due to a fresh low-pressure area forming over the north Bay of Bengal around July 24. The system is expected to intensify rainfall activity from July 23 to July 26.


Investigation Continues
The investigation into the horrific incident in Balanga, Puri—where a minor girl was allegedly set ablaze—has entered its fourth day. Over the past four days, police have interrogated more than 50 individuals, including the victim’s close friends, family members, and eyewitnesses.

The British Royal Navy's F-35B Lightning II fighter jet flew out of the Thiruvananthapuram international airport today. The single-pilot manned jet had been stranded in Kerala for five weeks after making an emergency landing on June 14.

Three AH-64E Apache Attack Helicopters for the Indian Army arrived at Hindon Airport today from the United States. AH-64E is one of the world's most advanced helicopters, and its induction into the Indian Army is likely to boost operational capabilities.


Success For Bihar STF, Police
A joint team of Bihar STF and Bhojpur police arrested three accused following an encounter today. The police and STF, acting on intelligence inputs, surrounded the suspects linked to the Chandan Mishra murder case. Bihar-based gangster, Onkarnath Singh, who is currently behind bars, reportedly planned the murder with the help of the latter's family associate.
