Tension prevailed outside the Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar as opposition party staged a protest over the recent death of a female student of Fakir Mohan Autonomous College in Balasore. Meanwhile, victim's father has urged the political parties not to politicize the matter.

'She Didn’t Die, Was Killed'
A heart-wrenching statement from the father of the deceased student has sparked fresh calls for a thorough investigation into the case. The victim's father said: “My daughter was strong, trained in self-defence, and socially active. She didn’t die by suicide — she was driven to it." While the victim's friend said “Those who are now demanding justice were the same ones who ran a smear campaign against her."

Yellow Alert
