Ex-MLA Passes Away
Senior BJP leader and former MLA of Korei Constituency,
Sanchita Mohanty passed away at her residence in Bhubaneswar at the age of 67.
She was suffering from prolonged health issues and was undergoing medical
treatment. CM Mohan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and
other leaders expressed grief on the demise of BJP leader.
Free Bus Travel
The Odisha government has approved free bus travel for
school students under the Mukhyamantri Bus Seva scheme, replacing the 50%
concession. Students with valid ID cards or uniforms will get zero-value
tickets, with OSRTC revising routes to cover more schools.
