Bhubaneswar, June 10: The date and time is now set for a new Chief Minister to begin BJP's maiden stint in Odisha as the new CM will take oath at 4.45 pm Wednesday.
Narendra Modi, who kicked off his third term as the Prime Minister of India after taking oath Sunday evening, will grace the iconic occasion where a BJP member will become the Chief Minister of Odisha for the first time in the state's history.
Modi will arrive at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here at 2.10 pm. He will head to Raj Bhavan from the airport, said Sanjeeb Panda, Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.
Around 35 thousand people are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony. The Prime Minister is scheduled to do a road show from Raj Bhavan to Janata Maidan Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier, the swearing-in ceremony was scheduled for June 10. The preparations were in full flow and many senior BJP leaders had also reached the Capital City for the occasion. However, the date was shifted to June 12 following the change of date for PM Modi's oath-taking.
Interestingly, amid all the excitement, there is the suspense as 'Who will be the CM?' is still in people's mind. A few names are buzzing around, but it will only be clear when the time comes in a couple of days.
