Bhubaneswar, June 4: Odisha is likely to see a new government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the vote-counting result trend shows the saffron party is well ahead of the regional party BJD.
By the end of the third round of vote counting, the BJP was leading in 77 seats, while the BJD was ahead in 46 seats, the Congress in 13 and others in four seats.
In the Lok Sabha polls, the saffron party was leading in a whopping 18 seats out of a total of 21.
