Bhubaneswar, Aug 31: Liquor lovers now have something to cheer for as the new excise policy will give them an opportunity to legally include liquor in celebrations.
People of Odisha can now add liquor in their domestic celebrations like marriage and birthday parties. However, they have to spend some from their pockets to make it legal.
According to reports, the organisers of domestic celebrations will have to apply for a permit and in return, they will get a 'One-Day Temporary On License'. The license will allow them to include liquor in their menu.

✨The license fees will depend on the number of people the organisers are hosting. The domestic organisers will have to pay Rs 3,000 for 25 guests, Rs 5,000 for 25-100 guests, Rs 10,000 for 100-200 guests, Rs 15,000 for 200-500 guests, Rs 20,000 for 500-1,000 guests while Rs 25,000 for more than 1,000 guests.
