CM Majhi inaugurated the program, emphasizing inclusive and responsive governance. Feedback will be used to improve service delivery and guide administrative reforms.

Bhubaneswar, Aug 26: In a landmark move to enhance transparency and citizen participation, the Odisha Government will launch the ‘Ama Shasana Byabastha’ (Our Governance System) initiative on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to inaugurate the programme from Lok Seva Bhavan, marking a new chapter in participatory governance.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between the government and the people by directly collecting feedback on public service delivery. Through this program, citizens will be able to share their experiences, concerns, and suggestions regarding various government services.

What sets this initiative apart is its proactive outreach model. Starting with the Chief Minister himself, ministers and senior officials will personally call citizens to gather their opinions. This direct engagement is expected to foster trust and ensure that governance is responsive to the real needs of the people.

The feedback collected will be systematically analyzed to identify gaps and improve service delivery mechanisms. The government also plans to use this data to make policy corrections and enhance administrative efficiency.

This initiative is part of a broader push by the Odisha Government to promote transparency, accountability, and citizen-centric governance. It reflects a shift from top-down administration to a more collaborative and responsive model.

With ‘Ama Shasana Byabastha’, Odisha takes a bold step toward making governance more accessible, empathetic, and effective.
