Fategarh, Mar 10: Minor siblings were found dead at their residence in Dhanachangda village under Fategarh police limits in Nayagarh district.

The deceased were the sons of Prakash Mohanty as the elder son was 13 while the younger one was 11 years of age. Fategarh police reached the spot and recovered the hanging bodies of the siblings.

According to reports, Prakash, son of Achyuta Mohanty, was married to Kuma 15 years ago. They then had two sons. However, Kuma had passed away three years ago.

The case got a twist when the police found out that Prakash had a marriage proposal just a day before his sons’ death.

The maternal grandmother of the siblings has reportedly said that Prakash has murdered the children and hanged the bodies to show it as a case of suicide.

Police’s initial investigation also says that the villagers also suspect it as a murder case. Fategarh police has sent the bodies for post-mortem and detained the accused Prakash.
