Bhubaneswar, May 23: BJP star campaigner and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath on Thursday alleged that the Naveen Patnaik government is now in the custody of bureaucrats and people of Odisha are suffering a lot.

"The Naveen Patnaik government is in the custody of Naukarsahis (bureaucrats). When Naukarsahis take a government into their custody, people start suffering. Odisha people are now going through such a disappointing situation," Adityanath alleged while addressing a massive Vijay Sankalp Yatra at Banapur in Khordha district. Banapur Assembly constituency comes under Puri Lok Sabha seat, where election will be held on May 25. 

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister stressed that the people's representatives should be directly involved in the government.     

The BJD government has disrespected the Odia culture and tradition. It has protected the killers of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati and promoted appeasement politics, alleged Adityanath. 

He targeted the BJD government over the 'stealing' of Ratna Bhandar keys of Shreemandir, Puri. 

"Looters are not only eyeing the land and sand here, they are even targeting the Ratna Bhandar (the house of jewels and pearls) of the Lord Jagannath," lamented Adityanath. 

The Uttar Chief Minister said the Modi government has been working for the development of all without any prejudices. 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash," is Modi's development concept, he said.

On the occasion, Adityanath urged people to vote massively for BJP's Puri MP candidate Sambit Patra and Banapur MLA candidate Prithviraj Harichandan.
