Nabarangpur, Feb 23: The hanging bodies of two lovebirds were found in Bharkibhatta village under Chaklapadar Gram Panchayat of Jharigaon block early on Friday morning.

The girl has been identified as the Gouri Gouda, the daughter of Jaga Gouda and the boy is identified as Mohan Gouda, the son of Mali Gouda of the same village. 

The bodies were found hanging from a tamarind tree which is 300 metres away from the village.

According to the sources, the duo had gone along with their friends to watch opera in the nearby Gaibandha village on Thursday. 

However, their family members lodged a complaint when they did not return home last night. This morning some villager spotted their dead bodies while they were collecting Mahul leaves near the tamarind tree. 

However, under what circumstances they died is still yet to be known.
