Jharsuguda, Mar 23: The two-member team of Odisha Crime Branch, which was investigation the murder case of former minister Naba Kisore Das, Sunday, left Jharsuguda after a five-day extensive investigation.

According to reports, the team conducted search at the residence of former minister, district headquarter hospital, airport and the crime scene. As a part of the investigation, it also questioned Naba Das's family multiple times.

The team also interrogated the doctor who treated Naba Das, officials of the Jharsuguda airport, the pilot of the aircraft that transported him, and almost everyone associated with the case.

Now, the reports of ECG has turned the direction of the investigation, according to the officials of Crime Branch team.

The second phase of the Crime Branch investigation will reveal whether Gopal Das is the sole accused or if there is a conspiracy behind the incident.

The Crime Branch officials stated that a five-day investigation report will be submitted to the court, and if needed further, they will come back to Jharsuguda for additional investigation.
