Jharsuguda, Jan 12: The murder of former Odisha Minister Naba Das was shrouded with more suspicions as Deepali Das, the daughter of the slain leader, allegedly said, "My father was murdered through a police officer," at a Press conference.
While almost two years have passed since the former Health Minister was gunned down by an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (ASI) in full public view, Deepali was silent and yet to suspect anybody behind her father's death.
Though Deepali was silent, her brother Bikash Das and her mother insisted on a proper probe into Naba Das' murder.

✨The suspicion raised by former MLA Deepali Das has fueled a discussion in all spheres, particularly the political sphere. Then, the opposition party BJP, and Congress also suspected that Naba Das was killed through the ASI Gopal Das and demanded to bring to the fore the perpetrators and punish them as per law. Raising the same suspicion, Deepali has said in public that there are other people behind her father's killing.
Following Deepali's statement, people in general have started discussing who were the perpetrators behind Naba Das' daylight gunshot murder. Though the case is sub-judice, a fresh investigation should be done to bring the real culprits to the fore, according to many.
