Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: Inder, a magnificent Murrah bull from Haryana, is rapidly gaining national attention as one of the most promising breeding bulls of his generation. The massive Murrah breed bull named Inder, which has come from Haryana, has also become one of the major attractions at the Fish-Animal Fair organized at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar, drawing curious visitors and livestock enthusiasts alike, officials said on Wednesday.
At just 4.5 years of age, Inder already weighs an impressive
17 quintals, reflecting exceptional growth, strength, and genetic potential.
Bred at the prestigious Karamveer Breeding Farm in Kurukshetra, he represents
the next generation of scientifically managed Murrah genetics. His powerful
frame, balanced body structure, and commanding presence have made him a
standout in elite buffalo breeding circles.
Inder is maintained under a carefully monitored,
nutrition-rich feeding program designed to maximise health, fertility, and
longevity. His daily diet includes approximately 28 kilograms of feed,
comprising five litres of milk, two kilograms of curd, green chickpeas, broken
wheat, pearl millet, and soybean. This protein- and energy-rich regimen
supports stamina, reproductive performance, and overall vitality. The daily
feeding and maintenance cost is estimated at Rs 4,000, underscoring the premium
care invested in this elite animal.

With his rapid physical development and superior Murrah
traits, Inder’s expected market value is pegged at around Rs 4 crore. Breeding
