Bhubaneswar, Mar 20: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Odisha Crime Branch Thursday arrested Sushant Samal, close aide of Sankar Chakra alias Raja Chakra, over his alleged links with Gandhamardan Loading Agency and Transporting Cooperative Society Ltd, the firm reportedly involved in over Rs 150 crore scam.

According to the EOW SP, accused Sushant Samal was arrested from Keonjhar.

Notably, on Wednesday, Raja was brought into three-day remand and a marathon interrogation is being conducted at the EOW office.

On the other hand, raids are being carried on seven locations associated with Raja Chakra. Reports indicate that these raids began in Keonjhar and extended to Bhubaneswar.
