Bhubaneswar, Dec 21: A shocking incident of street crime has rattled the capital city today, as a young woman was robbed of her mobile phone in broad daylight in the Saheed Nagar area.

According to reports, the victim was on her way towards the bus stand when two unidentified men riding a scooter approached her and snatched her mobile phone before speeding away. The sudden attack left the woman shaken, and she immediately reached the local police station in tears to lodge a complaint.

Taking note of the reports, police officials registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.

Efforts are underway to identify the culprits using CCTV footage from the area. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible.
