Khordha, Apr 6: At least 15 passengers were injured after a 'Mo Bus' in which they were travelling fell into nullah along National Highway-16 near Pitapalli on the Bhubaneswar city outskirts this afternoon. 

The driver and about 15 passengers onboard were injured. 

According to sources, the driver of the 'Mo Bus' lost control of the wheels while overtaking another vehicle on the NH following which the vehicle fell into the nullah.

After getting information, police reached the spot and rescued the injured persons with the help of the locals.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for their treatment. Around 10 persons, who were critically injured, were shifted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar for further treatment, sources said.

The driver of the bus reportedly absconded soon after the mishap.

Police started an investigation into the incident.
