Cuttack, Mar 18: Troubles mounted for Tirtol BJD MLA Bijaya Shankar Das again as his 'girlfriend' Somalika Dash approached Orissa High Court alleging police inaction against him despite the court's order. 

Somalika reportedly filed a petition seeking the court's intervention into the dillydallying attitude of the Jagatsinghpur police in taking action against MLA Das despite the HC order based on her earlier plea.  

Somalika, claiming to be the girlfriend of MLA Das, had filed a complaint with the police, with allegations such as betrayal after a marriage promise, relationship with many women, rape, and running of a sex racket, a year back. As the police didn't take any action against the MLA, Somalika approached the court. Considering her plea, the court also directed the Jagatsingpur police to initiate an investigation against Das. 

Today, in her petition, Somalika alleged that the Jagatsingpur police had not investigated the case.  

Earlier, MLA Das had also approached the Sub- Registrar's office seeking permission to marry another girl. However, Somalika opposed this arguing that how Das would marry when her case against him was still subjudice and he had not got a clean chit. 

Somalika said she would continue to fight the case until she has not got justice.
