Bhubaneswar, Jun 12: The Commissionerate Police on Friday traced and rescued an Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) aspirant who had gone missing from Bhubaneswar earlier this week, a senior Police officer said on Friday.
The candidate, identified as Prabhanjan Keshari Sahu, was found at Cuttack Railway Station following a coordinated search operation, he added.
According to police sources, Sahu, a resident of Bhimatangi area in Bhubaneswar, had been reported missing by his family. A formal complaint was lodged at the Airfield Police Station here after he failed to return home.
Social Media Appeal
In a bid to gather leads, the Airfield Police shared Sahu’s
photograph on social media platforms, requesting public assistance. The appeal
generated responses that eventually helped the police track his whereabouts.

Police officials said that Sahu was safely rescued and handed over to his family. “He has been reunited with his family members after being traced at Cuttack Railway Station,” a senior officer said.
