Malkangiri, Jun 5: Though late, the Malkangiri police traced Dr Amlan Kumar Bhoi, the missing medical officer of the Kalimela Community Health Centre (CHC), from the Maysore area in Karnataka.
The Mysore police traced Dr Amlan Mumar Das, informed the Malkangiri SP.
A five-member team of Malkangiri police left for Karnataka to bring the doctor back home, said the SP.
Sources said the police started an investigation based on a complaint of missing filed by the health department on the incident day on Saturday.

✨While an old mobile and a Maoist poster were recovered from the doctor's residence, locals suspected that Amlan was kidnapped by Naxals. The Malkangiri police had been searching for him since Saturday.
The doctor's family urged the District Collector and the SP to bring him back home.
