Puri, May 26: A minor girl from West Bengal was allegedly molested by a youth on Puri’s Bada Danda on Monday.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the minor girl along with her family was on a visit to the holy city.

On alert, locals managed to nab the accused, identified as Ranjit Samantaray of Bhubaneswar, and immediately informed the matte to on-duty home guard, who then took the accused into custody.

Reportedly, a case has been registered against the accused at the Singhadwara Police and further probe into the incident is underway.
