Bhadrak, Nov 3: In a tragic incident, a minor boy drowned while taking a bath in a pond at Begunia village of Bijayanagar gram panchayat under Chandbali block in Odisha's Bhadrak district.
Villagers and family members rescued the boy from the pond and rushed him to Chandbali Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Das, son of Haribandhu Das of Begunia village. A pall of gloom descended on the hospital premises after the doctors declared him dead.
