Dhenkanal, Jan 8: Raksha Khadse, Minister Of State Youth Affairs And Sports, Govt of India, was on a one-day visit to Dhenkanal Tuesday.
She received a warm reception at the Circuit House in Dhenkanal. She first visited the DRDO, where she had a meeting with district level officials over the development works in Dhenkanal.
"Under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi ji, the Aspirational Districts Programme is transforming lives across India," reads a post on 'X' by Khadse.
"Today, I had the privilege of visiting Dhenkanal district in Odisha, one of the Aspirational Districts identified under the transformative ADP," adds the post.
After the meeting, Khadse headed to BB High School in Gudianali, where the Minister of State reviewed the smart class project works and discussed about it.
Later she had visited the Dokra Hub a famous in Sadeibareni village and had a discussion with artisans. Dokra hub is a place where artisans create handicrafts from bell metal, known as dokra art.
Sharing the experience of her visit to Dhenkanal, Khadse, in a post on her 'X' handle, wrote: "During my visit, I witnessed remarkable efforts being made to improve lives in Dhenkanal. The district’s focus on leveraging its strengths and addressing challenges is inspiring."
