Bhubaneswar, Jan 24: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the death of six people in a road accident in Mayurbhanj and announced a compensation of Rs 3 lakh for the next family of each deceased. 

Besides, the Chief Minister announced free treatment for all the injured persons. The Chief Minister also expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured persons. 

It may be noted that six persons were killed as an opera party truck fell into a ghat when the party workers were returning to their home near Duarsuni ghat under Bangiriposi police station of Mayurbhanj district in Odisha.
