Bhubaneswar, Mar 6: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has announced Thursday the dates of answer sheet evaluation and result of the matric (Class X) board exam.

The matric board exam, which started February 21, concluded Thursday as students sat for Hindi and Sanskrit exams. The exams have been conducted smoothly and with discipline.

BSE Odisha President Srikant Tarai has said that the results will be declared in the first week of May. In addition, he also revealed that the evaluation of answer sheets will start from March 19.

Notably, more than five lakh students appeared for the matriculation exams conducted by the BSE Odisha this year. The exams were held across 3,133 centres across the state, with the exam time being scheduled from 9 am to 11.30 am for each subject.

Srikant Tarai also stated that none of the question papers went viral, courtesy the question papers carrying different serial numbers and QR codes. AI cameras helped in a big way in maintaining discipline at exam centres, especially exam halls, he asserted.
