Malkangiri, Aug 30: Mathili-3 Zilla Parishad Member Sasmita Majhi has been arrested for her alleged involvement in a fraud case.
Sasmita Majhi was arrested from Jagatsinghpur, said Mathili police.
According to the allegation, Sasmita was employed as an agent by a fraudster, who duped people of lakhs of rupees alluring them to give government jobs. The fraudster, who posed as a brother-in-law of a former BJD leader was arrested a few days back.
