Puri, Apr 8: A massive fire broke out at the barricades stored behind the Puri Public Works Department office Tuesday morning. The barricades, made of iron, plastic, and wood, quickly caught fire, filling the surroundings with thick smoke.

The blaze created a smoky haze, prompting immediate action by Fire Services personnel, who successfully managed to control the flames.

While authorities suspect foul play, the exact cause of the fire remains uncertain. Meanwhile, an investigations has been initiated to determine whether it was an act of arson or an accident.

This incident has raised concerns among locals, especially given a similar fire involving barricades near Gundicha Temple a few months ago.
