Bhubaneswar, Apr 27: In a significant crackdown, security forces uncovered a Maoist hideout along the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border and seized several articles.

According to reports, a large-scale anti-Maoist operation has been underway for five consecutive days in the Keragutta forest, located along the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. Security forces from four states have joined hands to combat Maoist activities in the region.

During the operation, the forces uncovered a massive natural shelter used by Maoists as a hideout. The discovery of this sophisticated shelter left the security personnel astonished, as it was equipped with provisions for water and rest.

The operation, which involves thousands of personnel, aims to dismantle Maoist networks and ensure the safety of the region.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Maoists fled the shelter before the forces arrived. The operation continues to intensify, with aerial support from the Air Force playing a crucial role.
